Twenty years on set
The studio is run by a working cinematographer
Pongo comes out of the work of a director of photography with twenty years behind him. The tools start from problems met on the job, not from a product idea.
Tested on real jobs
A prototype goes to work before it ships
Every tool goes through months of testing, then goes out on real jobs as a prototype. What does not hold up on set does not get released.
Checked against standards
We check against the instruments productions use
Our background gives us access to film rental houses and post facilities. We check our tools against the same instruments a production uses to verify cameras, lenses and workflow.
